Over-Dimensional Hauling
National Flatbed Solutions LLC handles a wide variety of over-dimensional hauling projects. By definition, over-dimensional freight is any load that is greater than the standard legal size for each state. Although legal dimensions vary, state-by-state the most common over dimensional cargo exceeds 53’ long, 8’ 6” wide & 8’ 6” tall from the trailer.
These types of cargo require permits before being shipped, and depending on height & weight can require other processes including route surveys, driving escorts & additional permits.
Common types of over-dimensional hauling trailers include, standard flatbeds, stretch flatbeds, stretch step decks, RGN’s, Multi-axle trailers & remote steerable trailers. National Flatbed has access to all the equipment you need to handle any task at hand.
